Always in a principle of diversity and meetings between institutions and professional artists of the performing arts, This year, Guillaume Caubel wanted to deepen the form of the ambulatory route. Built like a fantasized journey, the public is invited to enter "The Greatest Souk in the World" where artists mingle, parents, Curious and young spectators. You have to imagine a big electric fair, sonorous, Colorful and fragrant. People come here to awaken their taste buds with dishes from all continents, Listen to the singers and the hucksters sell us the elixir of youth and other perlimpinpin powders, discover new inventions from India, Japan and Europe.
We refresh ourselves and put the world to rights on the terrace before entering the "Cabinet of Curiosities". We discover "Freaks" of a new kind, Burlesque creatures, crazy and other curious beasts ready to do anything to amaze us and sometimes even a show programmed by the festival.
In front of the "cabinet of curiosities", we enter a small dark room to attend the "latest arthouse film" of the new Lumière brothers before being caught up in the great parade.
Coming from the four corners of the planet and from distant and unexplored lands, These strange creatures of more than 3 meters high with unknown shapes and colors. We follow the procession and enter "The Smallest Circus in the World" to attend a performance of "The Dream Catcher".
"L'Attrape Rêves" is a hybrid form of show bringing together young people from artistic workshops Theatre / Dance and Music with circus artists, Actors, Professional dancers and musicians.
For one year, the workshops will build paintings on the themes of the artistic forms of the world such as Le Bûto, Kathakali, the Circus Romanesque, African and Amerindian trance...
Conceived as a dream, it is a real cultural initiatory journey that "L'Attrape Rêve" offers you. By following a group of young people in search of truths, We activate the dreamcatcher that makes us fall on the other side of the mirror. We discover a world where everything becomes possible, where allegories reveal messages and give us their hallucinations. This initiatory journey, through the stages, will consist of trials where water and fire, The confrontation with circus prowess (equilibrium, acrobatics, trapeze, magic...) will select insiders... Each stage will be placed under the direction of one or two professionals showing conflicts or even fights between the participants. After a final stage, particularly painful and labyrinthine, the group of initiates will be confronted with their reflection in "The Mirror of Souls"...
